How to use this Sitemap tool
In generate mode, enter absolute HTTP(S) URLs one per line and choose uniform metadata or per-row table values; XML entities are escaped correctly and the result can be copied or downloaded. Paste existing XML in validation mode to check the namespace, URLs, dates, frequencies, priorities, and duplicates.
Protocol limits
A single Sitemap can contain up to 50,000 URLs and an uncompressed file must stay under 50 MB. This tool shows the reminder; split large sets according to search-engine documentation.
Frequently asked questions
Does a Sitemap guarantee indexing?
No. A Sitemap only provides URLs and related hints to search engines; it does not guarantee crawling, ranking, or indexing. Use it alongside site quality, robots.txt, and the search engine documentation.
How should lastmod, changefreq, and priority be used?
Only include information that is accurate and maintainable. Use an ISO date for lastmod, a protocol enum for changefreq, and a number from 0 to 1 for priority; omit optional fields when unsure.
